The Department of Neurosurgery
In cooperation with Ernst-Moritz Arndt University Germany
Announces the need for two medical research assistants to share the staff members in an extraordinary research project with Greifswald University- Germany concerning Hydrocephalus:
Advantages:
-Flexible working time starting from April till end of December 2017
-Great oppurtunity to work as guest resident in the department and get registration for a master degree in Neurosurgery afterwards.
- International exposure, sharing in Data banking, surgeries, and live conferences.
Criteria needed:
- Bachelor degree of Medicine and Surgery
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Good Knowledge with Microsoft  office

Working Capacity


The Department of Neurosurgery offer a wide range of services in Kasralainy either in the elective department, Traumatology unit, and Pediatric Neurosurgery unit. The department has also three private wards in Manial University hospital (Fourth floor) and New Kasralainy Teaching Hospital (French Hospital). The following activities are the basic daily routine in the department:


- Examining more than 60 patients in the outpatient clinics.
- Management of more than 20 patients with cranial and spinal traumas.
- More than 12  surgical operations for various cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerves pathologies.
- Admitting more than 20 patients  in the  Department 26, Traumatology and Pediatric Neurosurgery units
- Patients' visit and staff round.
